In overall, it can be seen from the information that in British the highest percentage of all people who eating fruits and vegetables was women, while, the children remained relatively lowest proportion who ate five portions of food. Furthermore, an increased can be observed in percentage of all masses who consumed these five food items over the period.
With regards to the amount of the British women who ate five servings of food items noticed just over a fifth from 2001. Similarly, percentage of women rose steadily and reached to peak at almost more than a third (35%) in both 2006 and 2007. In contrast, it started dropping and accounted at 30% at end of the period.
The figure further proves that a amount of men and children who consumed five portions of fruits and vegetables remained consistently stable in 2001 and 2003 ( 17% and 15% respectively ) in the UK. In addition to this, the amount of men who ate these five types food an increased gradually to peak at about over a quarter ( 28% ) from 2006 to 2007, whereas, it started declined in the last year. Interestingly, the percentage of children who was eating five servings of fruits and vegetables remained unchanged at a quarter between 2006 and 2008 and observed a higher at approximately 27% during 2007.
