Overall, the biggest part goes out to pay teachers’ salaries which sums up to around 40 to 50% whereas the lowest goes in the area of insurance. Additionally, furniture, books and salaries for other staffs make up the rest of the expenditure.
In 1981, teachers’ salaries made up 40% of the total spending, with books and furniture making up 30% together. salaries of other staffs added 28% more to the total along with a very low spending (2%) towards insurance. After 10 years, in 1991, teachers’ salaries and resources cost increased (10% and 5% respectively) whereas salaries for other staffs along with furniture cost dropped to 22% and 5% respectively. insurance cost also increased slightly by 1%.
However, in 2001, spending towards salaries (both teachers and staffs) and resources dropped a bit. But insurance cost increased to 8% from 3% as it was in 1991. The most dramatic increase was seen in case of furniture and equipment. it rose to 23% from just 5% within a span of 10 years.
