The line graph illustrates the number of travellers who visit to England for three different reasons ( Business, holiday and to meet friends and relatives) over a period of 20 years from 1989 to 2009. The number of people in millions.
With regards to visitors travelled to UK, it initiated in 1989 and then dramatically rise and reached its zenith point at 9 millions in 1999 before declining considerably to about 6.5 millions in 2004. After five years, it again reached to 9 millions.
Throughout the period, the number of visitors to united kingdom went through many fluctuations, it inclined steadily from 5 millions in 1989 to 7 millions in 2009. Whereas, overseas visitors to met friends and relatives depict upward trend from 1989 to 2004 and in last year the number of travellers decreased to 6 millions from 7 millions.
From the overall analysis, the number of visitors from foreign to England for various purposes rose up during the period ,whilts most of the people came to UK for trade.
