You ride a bicycle to work, but there is a problem with the parking. Write a letter to the manager of the Parking Management Company.
In your letter, you should tell:
• why you ride a bicycle to work
• what the problem is with the parking
• what your suggest are.
Dear Sir /Madam
I am writing this letter with regard to a recent change in the parking space for bicycles that has become an issue for me as well as other bike riders.
I am a student who is interning at your law firm to gain some experience as well as to earn something for making an easy living. I ride a bicycle to work because I cannot afford a luxury like car at the moment and it saves me the time as well since there are low chances of getting stuck in traffic. Moreover, it keeps me physically fit and healthy.
Last week there were some changes made to the parking area and almost half of the space from bicycle parking area was allotted to the cars. There is already enough space in the building’s underground parking, that is designated for cars only, but some of the biker’s area has been given away to cars which is problematic since it already was a confined space.
Reforms should be made to increase the parking area for bicycles or at least retuning it to as much as it was before. Cycle parking could be shifted to another place like the yard at the left side of the building that is filled with excess construction material from the time of building’s construction. Or the empty plot on the backside of the firm building could be utilized for car parking providing a much larger space.
I hope you will look into this matter and amendments will be made for the convenience of the bicycle riders.
Yours truly,
Aqsa Afzal
