The data on australia declined slightly from 1978 to 1998 then it increased rapidly to 23% in 2008. The figure for japan decreased dramatically to 41% in the year 2008.
In 1989, the percentage of difference gaps between genders in the us was 33%, followed by 29% of the uk and 19% of france. there were the same downward trends in these figures of all 3 nations over the researched period. In 2008, the data on the us, the uk, and france reached 28%,27%, and 17% respectively.
