Overall, it can be seen that women detain the highest percentage of fruit and vegetables consuming, while children accounted for the lowest proportion. Furthermore, an important increase in the proportion of people eating these food elements can be seen over the period given.
The percentage of woman who ate fruits and vegetables started slightly above 20% in 2001. this figure rose steadily until 2006 where it reaches the highest peak of around 35%, before having a downturn and achieve 30% in 2008.
In term of men and children eating fruits and vegetables, the rate remained stable for the first three years ( about 17% and 12% respectively). From this point, men group climbed gently to reach about 27% in 2007, after this dropped to 26% in 2008. A similar growth happens to children's figure, hitting 25% in 2007 and around 24% in 2008.
