Dear Tim,
Its been a long time that I wanted to write you a letter, however, I was extremely busy for the past one month. I hope you have settled in London and finding the city interesting. I am pleased to tell you that I have received my offer letter from the company where I applied for job of credit analyst and will be joining next month in London.
I was wondering if you could give some advice on the accommodation. My office will be on High Street and I am looking to shift to an apartment nearby. To be precise, I am not looking for a big apartment as my Company will be offering me a new house, but this will take some time. I am therefore happy to shift in a one bedroom apartment with a small living area and kitchen for initial 2 months.
Also I am glad that there will be one week's time prior to joining so was thinking if you can take a day or two off and we can plan to explore the city. I have heard there are many interesting amusement park and Zoos which we can visit.
Let me know if you happen to get any quotes for the apartment so that I can shortlist few of them and finalize.
See you soon.
Best wishes
