• Apologize for not getting in touch with her sooner
• Explain why you have been so busy
• Arrange a time to visit
Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Grandmother,
I hope you are doing well. I am really sorry to let you know that I couldn't come to see you.
My university classes has recently been started and I'm going very much busy with my studies as one of my teacher have assigned me a social project to distribute 100 blankets to poor people around the city as the weather is getting freeze. For this purpose my instructor has told me that I'll get good grades if I'll complete this before the next week. So that's why I'm occupied in this task along with my class mates.
However, the good news is that I'll be getting off from my university by next month and I've planned that this time I'd spent 1 full month in our town and I am hoping that mom and dad would surprise me on my birthday which is coming in mid of next month. I've bought a wheel chair for you since last time you told me that you want to replace you current wheel chair.
So I'm desperately waiting for the next month to come and meet with you and our whole family.
Keep in touch
Jeetender
