The charts represent the percentages of salaries spent on different social needs in one mounth by low income group and high income group in an European country.
Overall, the level of expenses on some items such as clothing are similar for both groups, whilst other needs such as food and cultural activities contribute differently.
According to the data, people of low income group spend 29% of monthly income on food and drink which is the biggest part of expenditures. Fuel and miscellaneous have 24% and 18% respectively. Recreational and cultural activities take 11% of income every month, while 9% of money is used on transportation. In addition, people spend about 5% on clothing and 4% restaurant and hotel.
On the other hand, 5% of monthly income is spent on clothing and 7% on fuel. Citizens from high income group also use 12% on restaurant & hotel and 15% on food and drink. Relatively high expenses contribute to recreational activities that have 21% and miscellaneous, on which 23% of monthly income is spent.
