The first given pie chart illustrates the consumption of energy in percentage wise which is used by the Australians for numerous household activities, where second one revels the proportions of greenhouse gas emission resulted from the energy usage.
Overall, it is very noticeable that energy used for cooling results very low proportion of greenhouse whereas high level of greenhouse gas emits from the energy used for water heating.
The proportion of energy consumption for heating was 42% which was the largest among other sectors. Moreover, the Australians use almost one third of the energy for water heating purpose with 30%. energy used for other application was 15% which is double of refrigeration with 7%. There are nominal level of energy used for cooling as well as lighting purposes and the figures are 2% and 4% respectively.
With 32% emission, water heating was the vital source of greenhouse gas which makes it one third of the total followed by other applications with 28% emission which makes it the second major cause of the greenhouse gas emission. almost same level of greenhouse gas emitted from heating as well as refrigeration and the figures are 15% and 14% successively. The minimal proportion of greenhouse emitted from lighting and cooling with 8% and 3% accordingly
