TOEFL SPEAKING TASK 3: THE SCHOOL IS OFFERING A COMMUNITY SERVICE TRIP NEXT SEMESTER

Announcement: A Community Service Trip
In the next semester, we will provide students with a community service trip to the nearby cities to help restore the facilities of the parks. This activity is free to students who are willing to participate in the service. We will offer food, hotels as well as vehicles to students. The duration of the service will be one week.
Conversation:
A male student and a female student is discussing the announcement. The man agrees with the announcement for a couple of reasons. Since the school will account for almost all the money expenditure(food, place to live and transportation), the students will have to spend no money on the service trip. Therefore, students may be more willing to participate in the service trip. And He also says that there was once that one of his friend attended the service trip held by another school. The working duration was less than one week, and as they spent a couple of days doing the training, they had not enough time to finish the service in the end. Since the trip is one week this time, he thinks that they could get the work done after training.
