The illustration highlights various steps involved in the production of ethanol fuel from the original ingredient of corn.
Overall, with a view to producing ethanol fuel, the raw material which is corn is processed in eight stages, from harvesting corn to the transportation of the finished product.
The first stage of manufacturing ethanol fuel involves harvesting corn from the field by farmers, followed by being subsequently stored and milled. After being broken down in the milling process, the former product enters the cooking stage. It is at this stage that a sufficient amount of water is added before encountering the fermenting machine in the following stage. During the fermenting stage, the obtained product has to be fermented in 2 days.
The next step starts as the mixture is carefully separated into liquid and solid as a by-product which is then eradicated and used for another intention. The ethanol liquid is passed through the purifying phase with five hours before being stored. Finally, the finished product is transported and delivered to shops where it can be widely sold.
