The diagram depicts the process of ethanol fuel produced from a corn, a type of biomass. There are clear 7 step by step stages that corn must undergo, from the start of storing, treatment and transporting.
Initially, corn is the main source of ethanol fuel, all the corn that harvested will store in a clean and dry storage. Portion of the corn will be transferred to milling machine, once it has been cut into fine pieces, it will cook by adding amount of water and to be cook for 4 hours. From this point, cooked corn will be fermented for 48 hours. After fermentation take place, liquid and solid by product will be separated by using a machine. Liquid by product will only be used for purification and treatment of ethanol fuel that will take 4 hours. After the treatment the fuel will store in a tank, and ready to transport and distribute to other station to use as a fuel.
To sum up, it is evident from the diagram that corn is the end product of ethanol fuel. Fuels undergo tremendous stages of treatment to manufacture a high quality of fuel.
