Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am writing to report few discrepancies that I have seen on my credit card statement for last month. I am exceedingly depressed seeing these uncertain vagaries.
My name is Robin Smith, living in North York near the Castlemore branch of Nova Scotia Bank, which is handled by you. My account number is 19993535. I maintain one chequing and one saving account in your bank.
To begin with, I received my last month’s transaction this morning, which covers all my expenditures and withdrawals from the beginning of the month, till the end. While looking at the report, I found out some unauthorize payments that I am not even aware of. However, I can only remember of using my card for last time at a Grocery store close to my apartment on 25th June around 7:30 pm, since then I haven’t used it for anything. Furthermore, location of the unknown transaction shows in Calgary which is 34 Hours drive from Ontario and on top of it the transaction timing was 5:00 pm on the same day, which is practically impossible.
I would really appreciate if you could investigate this matter. Although, it is crystal clear that it could be some system glitch or statement printing issue, yet it needs to be double checked, so that it could be prevented from happening again. Also, kindly send me revised statement at my listed address on my account.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Yours Faithfully
Robin Smith
