You recently went for a meal at Benny’s fast food restaurant, which is part of an international chain. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and the food was badly cooked, so you complained to the supervisor. However, he was very rude to you and insisted on paying for the meal. You have decided to write a letter of complaint to the company’s head office. Write your letter complaining about the reasons for your complaint and saying what you expect the company to do.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to complain about the food and service that I already experienced at your restaurant - Benny's fast food yesterday evening. Unless it was just an incident, your restaurant's reputation which is a part of an international chain would be terribly affected.
Firstly, your restaurant has offered an unacceptable meal. It took the waiter over 20 minutes to give my order. And I had to wait a further 30 minutes for the food to be served. After a long waiting, the food was badly cooked far below from my expectation. The meat was raw and frozen in the middle, furthermore, the vegetables were too poor to be eaten.
To make matter worse, I was deeply offended by the behavior of the supervisor. I complained to him who insisted on my paying for the meal. When I refused to do so, he rudely told me to leave.
As you can imagine, I am extremely disappointed. I must insist on a full refund, furthermore a written apology from the management board, or else I will be forced to take further action. I expect to hear from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
