The bar chart provides information regarding the proportion of physical activity that two genders undertake in Australia in 2010.
As the chart illustrates, doing physical activity was more popular among women than men. For example, females who had 25 years old and above showed nearly more interest in exercise than males. By contrast, girls who were in the age group of 15 to 24 did fewer activity than boys that were in the same age group.
Interestingly, adulthood (45-64) was the period that women were significantly more active than other life periods (15-44). Furthermore, the most popular duration for men to do exercise was the ages between 15 and 24. It seems that, males had the lowest tendency to do sport in the ages between 35 and 44 but for females this reluctance took place earlier (25-34).
To conclude, females were notably more eager than males to do physical activities in 2010, and the only age period that doing sport among men were popular was the ages between 15 to 24.
