You drive to work, but have recently had a problem parking your car at the office.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter
* describe the problem with the parking
* explain how this is affecting you
* suggest what should be done about the problem
Dear Mr. Richard,
I am writing to bring to your notice regarding the parking crisis which we have been facing since November.
Last month, when my working timings were changed from morning to afternoon, I started facing problem with my car park as it gets filled by the time I reach. So, I need to take my vehicle to the nearest metro station that is quite a chaos for me.
Despite these difficulties, I have been paying double charges for the same wherein it takes me extra time to reach the office. Because of this inconvenience, I tried to use public transportation that It is hectic during this shift hours.
I would really appreciate it if you could grant me some work from home days per week. This will help me to compensate for the commute time that is non-productive this month. Also, parking lot space can be made rotational for further weeks.
I hope you will take immediate action on this matter, and consider my request.
Yours sincerely,
Apoorva Chikara
