There are different customs in different countries related to how people eat, dress, and so
on. Some think that people visiting a country should behave according to the customs of the
country they visit.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
There are several customes , cultures and practices have been adopted by native people of different countries. This diversification could be easily seen across various countries. In my opinion, it is a good practice to follow the native customs , culture by the visitors during their visit to that country. I have discussed various reasons for this in subsequent paragraphs.
To begin with, Visitors who adopt the local customs , culture during the tenuare of their stay in the country have been more embraced by the native people incomparison to those who do not pay attention to the native pratices. One can certainly feel more sense of belongingness with the native people if he/she adopts their regional practices. For an instance, native people often invites visitors to their home for lunch who tends to show urge of tasting local cusinies. Hence following the native culture, practices a visitor can enjoy his trip to better extent.
Also, Variety adds a spice to life. By visting the countries of various culture , practices and adopting all these during the stay one can enjoy various taste of life. People can enjoy local festivals , they can taste the native authentic cusine. This will not only add interset to their life but also can help to boost the local economy. For example, United states and European countries accepts the people with various talents from across the world irrespective of their culture, religion who ultimately contibutes to boost the economy of the country.
On the other hand, it is true that nation can benefit from cultural diversity. But visitors should not ignore their roots as well while visiting to other countries. One should know the importance of his own culture and should make effort to promote good things about their culture in other countries during their visit.
To conclude, accepting the native culture plays a key role to make the trip more enjoyful for the vistior and also he is more wlecomed by the local people if he embraces their local practices. But also, one should not forget about his own cuture , good practices duriing their stay in an another country.
