The picture demonstrates the steps and tools involved in the process of manufacturing cement, and how concrete is made from cement for construction industry. Overall, special equipment are used to produce cement from its raw materials, and a sophisticated concrete mixer makes concrete by mixing correct proportions of other ingredients with cement.
In cement-making process, first, limestone and clay, which are raw materials of cement, are crushed until they turn in to a powder. Afterwards, the powder is mixed thoroughly by a mixer before it enters in to a rotating heater, in which the powder is heated continuously by a heat supplier. Following this, it enters in to a grinder, where it is ground to make cement. Before cement is transported for sale, it is packed in bags.
In order to produce concrete, four ingredients are mixed in a concrete mixer, which needs 15% of cement, 25% of sand, 50% of gravel and only 10% of water.
