Ielts writing task 1 - Single-Variable line graph

The diagram depicts the number of cases of diarrhea recorded in Mashhad between 1983 and 1992. According to the graph, no cases of the disease were reported in 1992.
It is observed that in 1983, the total number of diarrhea cases stood at 100 and maintained the same level over two years later. This was followed by another increase, in 1986 when the number of cases was almost 75 higher than 1985 and rose slightly to reach 200 in 1987. However, this upward trend was suddenly broken and the diarrhea cases dropped in 1988 to the same level as they were in 1983, but this was not to last as they rocketed dramatically next year to reach over 400.The year 1990 saw a small decrease of about 50 diarrhea cases, which then leveled off in 1991. The number of diarrhea cases in 1992 fell enormously and reached a low of 0.
To summarise, the number of diarrhea cases in Mashhad peaked in 1989, while the weakest could be observed in 1992.
