Letter: You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
〈 Describe the situation
〈 Explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
〈 Say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to draw your attention with regards to the problem I have to face due to the nuisance my room-mate makes in the night time.
I have to attend the lectures in the morning, and later on by the afternoon I go for a part-time job in the nearby restaurant. Most of the evenings I have either to study or work on the project assigned by my lecturer's, before going for sleep.
However, the junior student who has been recently assigned to accommodate with me, stays up till late at night and invites his other friends in the evening. Moreover, the deafening music he plays makes it arduous to concentrate on my work and studies.
I request you to change my accommodation to no sharing rooms or next to the library where students are often quite or involved in their studies most of the time.
I look forward to the immediate action, as the term exams are starting from next month.
Kind Regards,
Shreyas Parab
