The two maps below show an island , before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
The given maps illustrate before and after developments of tourist facilities which took place in the island. Overall, it can be clearly seen that a comparison of two maps reveals complete transformation from an unpopulated island to the place which attracts tourists.
Before the facilities were constructed, the island was inhabited and there were only trees and most of the area was empty. Island had faced a complete construction in order to attract tourists. To the north of the island, a restaurant with a view to the sea was constructed. Looking to the south, a pier for boating and some accommodation areas were built. Island also faced some changes in the centre of the island, constructing reception centre and accommodation houses. Moreover, the plants and trees of the area stayed as it was before.
On the other hand, along the island there were built footpaths for walking between accommodation areas and vehicle tracks around the reception centre which helped improve the commuting system in the island.
