The bar chart shows the percentage of the total world population in 4 countries in 1950 and 2002, and projections for 2050.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 word

The given bar graph demonstrates the total percentage of the world's population in the USA, China, India and Japan in 1950 and 2002, along with the prediction anticipated population for 2050.

Overall, it is clearly seen that even though, China holds the largest population for both the years and Japan holds the least population, India is projected to have the highest population.

In the year 1950, China had the highest occupancy with about 23%. The total per cent of people residing in India was 15 %. The population further reduced for the USA and Japan with about 13 and 4 per cent respectively.

Similarly, in the year 2002 India experienced a 2% rise in its population whereas China declined with the same percentage. A similar drop was witnessed by the USA and Japan too.

A rise of about two percentage is expected in 2050 becoming the highest of all whereas, Japan is likely to experience a fall of two. Although the USA is predicted to remain stable with 5 percentage, Chine is likely to experience a decrease of five per cent of the total population.
