Provided are the line graphs which delineate comparative data regarding the changes in number of international and Australian students who applied Australian universities, from 2001 to 2010. A glance at the graphs reveal that number of total students experienced a noticeable growth for all the time covered in the figures.
According to the first graph, both commencing and total overseas students saw a considerable upward trend. In the starting time, the difference was less marked with approximately 10000 for commencing and 20000 for total applicants. Nonetheless, by the final time there had been more significant rise in the number of total students with the numbers rising to a little above 80000 compared to just 40000 commencing students enrolled.
