The pie charts below give data on the spending and consumption of resources by countries of the world and how the population is distributed.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
You should write at least 150 words.
The three pie charts illustrate the proportion of distribution of the people in the world geography and their utilization of resources and way of spending in different consumer goods.
Overall, the Asian continent has doubled the population of the rest of the world whereas the consumption of resources is most in America and Europe. However, the majority of spending is on others while some necessities like food and transport come immediately after.
Given a close look at the data, it can be seen that although Asia is the most densely populated continent in the world which is about 57%, the resources utilized by this geographical location along with other continents are only 40%. On the other hand, Europe and America have together only 28% of the world's population but their utilization of their resources is 60%.
In regards to the spending on consumer goods, the world's people spend the most on the others which are 40%. The next two categories where they invested the most are in order of sequence food 24% and transport 18% respectively. However, the spending on clothing is the least of only 6% whereas housing accounted for double than clothing.
