The table below shows the number of cars made in three countries in 2003, 2006 and 2009.
The chart illustrates how many cars were produced in Argentina, Australia and Thailand during the six-year period between 2003 and 2009. It can be clearly seen that despite of a significant decrease in last two years, the majority of car production was made in Thailand while Argentina manufactured the fewest cars in three countries.
In 2003, nearly 736,000 cars were produced in Thailand whereas Argentina accounted for over 452,000 cars doubling the figure of Australia. Only after two three years later, the manufacture of cars in Thailand increased dramatically by over 400,000 cars and there is also a slight increase in the figure of Argentina. On the contrary, Australia made only 341,268 cars which were about 100,000 fewer than the first year of the period.
In 2009, the number of cars made in Thailand was approximately 1000,000 cars but this figure was slightly lower than that in 2006. Australia’s car production was also reduced to 245,624 cars while there were more than 100,000 cars were manufactured in Argentina compared with 2006 in the last year of the period.
