You recently read an article in a newspaper about your childhood friend with whom you have lost contact for a long time.
Write a letter to the editor in your letter:
1. Say which edition and when the article appeared
2. Explain why you lost contact with your friend
3. Say how you want them to help you to get back in touch
Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to inquire about the person in the recent article published in The Times newspaper. His name is Ali Tavakoli, and he used to be my intimate friend when we were child and we lost touch after he moved to England.
I read the Persian edition of the article the number of 3459117 and it was published on the website on May 25th. As a matter of fact, we were classmate and also neighbors; we would go to school and play football almost every day together. He, however, move to London with his family in the summer of 2004 for good.
Due to the fact that there were no social applications such as Telegram or WhatsApp add the time, we completely lost contact. I am positive that had there been the internet networks, it would not have happened.
Therefore, I really look forward talking to him after all these years. He would be surprised as well, without any doubts. I would like to ask you if you could neither give me his contact or inform him of my letter. It would be great if you contact me via this email address: meysamrezaei@gmail.com
Thank you in advance,
Hope to receive your response soon,
Meysam Rezaie
