The bar graph illustrates the percentage of internet usage based on the age of the people during 1998 to 2000.
As can be clearly seen in the graph, 16 to 30-year-old people accounted for the highest percentage of internet users in comparison with other ages.
Evidently, the age with lowest percentage was less than 15, which represents 2% of internet users in 1998 to 9% in 2000. So the graph shows that there has been a slight rise in using internet by children and ironically, a fall in percentage of young and middle aged users with age of 16 to 50. What stands out in this chart is, the differences not only between children and youth, but also between 16 to 50-year-old people and people more than 50 in using internet as either their recreational domestic or must-have item at work.
As a result, having had high-speed, cost-efficient internet connection, it's no wonder people have been being led to becoming more and more internet users, despite their age as shown in the table.
