The maps illustrate the changes of a bookstore that have taken place in 2000 and now.
Overall, the bookstore has experienced a process of development, resizing and relocation of some sections. It is worth to note that the bookstore has undergone significant changes with more facilities.
When it comes to the bookstore in 2000, the bookstore was the square-shaped building with its entrance at the west. The service desk was placed on the left bottom corner of the building while travel and newbooks section was situated at the front of the entrance. The fiction section was divided into 2 segments, which took up significant space, one along the top and the other along the right upper corner. The non-fiction books was arranged to south, towards the east of the service desk. At the center, there were rows of books on art, hobbies and cookery.
The first change happen is the shrunken by a quarter of the previous fiction area. Books on art , hobbies and cookery account for other three parts. The non-fiction book section is moved to the right upper corner, where fiction book took up in 2000, and given away to a cafe. Subsequently, the middle area is cleared to make space for a seating area. However, the new books section, service desk and travel stay remained the same original places.
