Overall, a greater proportion of British citizens donated money in 1990 than in 2010. However, the British elderly people donated more money to charity than the young Britishers.
In the year 1990 42% of the total fund was donated to charity by 35 to 65-year-mature Britishers, whereas 51 to 65 and above 65 had given 35%, 32 % fund of that total proportion to a non-profit organization. While young Donner s age group between 26 and 35 and 18 to 25 had contributed approximately 31% and 16% respectively.
IN 2010, maximum money was donated to the charity by 51 to 56 years old British civilians, whilst aged 36 to 50 and above 65 had a similar contribution for charity which was 35%. The youngsters who were between 26 and 35 had given around 33 % money to a non-profit organization, and the least contribution was made by 18 to 25-year-old Britishers which was merely 6%.
