The given bar graph reveals the information about the ratio of travellers who travel to work by using four different means of transport in single European city in three different years ( 1960, 1980 and 2000 ).
Overall, it can be said that the highest percentage of people go to work by walking in the initial year. The maximum proportion of people like to go work by using bus and in the middle and last year respectively.
According to the given graph, it is clear that in 1960, an average value of travellers who used to travel to and from work by walking was just below 35%. The workers who went to work by bus and bike was about to 18% and 25% respectively. Only 5% of people went to job by using their car. After two decades ( 1980 ), the percentage of worker who went to their job on bus was around 25% which was nearly 3% greater than the figure of those peoples who commuted to their office by car. The minor difference was seen in those workers who visit to their office by using bike and foot and the figures was lied between 20% and 15%.
In the year 2000, the highest proportion of workers were gone to work on car that was 35%. Whereas, the least proportion of employees used their bike to go to job which was nearly 5%. An average value of travellers who travel on bus was just over 15%. Approximately 9% of workers went to office by walking.
