The graph below shows the number of Computer and Internet users in different Arab countries
The bar chart compares the number of people using computers and the Internet in nine different countries in the Arab World.
Overall, UAE and Kuwait were by far the most computerized countries among nine regions. In several countries (the UAE, Lebanon, Jordan, and Oman), there were more Internet users per thousand people than computers. However, in other countries, such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, the number of Internet users was lower than the number of computers.
In UAE, approximately one-third of the population had access to the Internet, followed by 100 users in Kuwait and 80 in Lebanon respectively. The UAE had over 150 computers for every 1000 citizens, compared to 120 computers in Kuwait and 80 in Lebanon. The number of using computers in S. Arabia and Oman was negligible, with roughly 60 and 48 users, respectively while only less than 50 people got accessed to the Internet. However, people from Egypt, Morocco, and Syria seemed to refrain from connecting to the Internet and computer, resulting in the situation’s lowest number compared to that of others.
