You want to sell your television. You think a friend of yours might like to buy it from you.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter explain:
1. Why you are selling the television
2. Describe the television
3. Suggest a date when your friend can come and see it
Dear Raj ,
I’m fine and hope the same for you. I’d like to tell you about an exciting offer of a sale of television, which may interest you, as you were looking for a television for your bedroom.
I’ve just got admission into a Delhi University and I'm supposed to join before the end of october. As I’ll be staying in a hostel, which is already equipped with the basic facilities, I’ll no longer need it. I’m willing to sell it at half of market price, since I’m in urgent need of money for my hostel fees.
It’s the latest 32 inches, Sony LED television with in-built features like Amazon prime and Netflix, which when connected with the internet, offers a wide variety of documentaries and movies. It’ll help you in your research work as well, so it’s certainly a good buy for you.
Why don’t you pay a visit to my place and check the Television yourself? I ‘m free on the coming weekend, so you can visit me anytime you wish but do ring me up before coming.
I can’t wait to hear from you.
Yours lovingly
Ishween kaur
