You had dinner with your friend’s family. Write a letter to you friend and express your feelings about the dinner. In your letter, you should:
- Say what you enjoyed about the dinner
- Describe how you feel about his/her family
- Invite your friend and his/her family to you place.
Dear Jini,
I am fine and hope that you are doing well. It has been just a week that we have met but it feels like a year. I am writing to thank you for having me at your place and can't express how much I have enjoyed it.
It's really thoughtful of Aunt Lucy to have remembered my favourite cuisine. I have never ever had such a palatable home cooked chinese food in my life. I am so thankful to her for putting so much effort and time into cooking delicious garlic chicken and fried rice along with the spring rolls, for me. I loved it so much.
I want to tell you that your family gave me so much warmth and love, that it actually reminded me of my parents back in Punjab. Initially I was feeling a bit shy, but then your mom and dad made me very comfortable by cracking jokes with me. Your dad certainly has a great sense of humor and I had an exhilarating experience which I am going to cherish for years to come.
Why don't we catch up on Sunday at my place? My family will be glad to meet you.
Keep in touch and see you soon.
Best regards
Ishween kaur
