The given bar chart depicts the proportion of the total world population in four different countries in 1950, 2002 and the projection for 2050.
It can be seen from the chart that of the four countries, three of them had a decreasing trend and there is the opposite trend in India.
In 1950, China, which considered the world's biggest population, was recorded for its population at around 23% while India was accounted for about 15 percent of the world's popularity. In contrast, USA showed only 7% and less than 5% of the earth citizen was in Japan. Over the 52-year period, India has shown a slight increase, whilst China has received a notable decrease and the rest has declined.
In 2050, Indian residents are estimated to rise continuously to approximately 23 percent which will take China's place for the world's biggest popularity. On the contrary, China is projected to have a fall to 15% follows by Japan to only 2%, whereas, the rate of global citizens being American is planned to remain stable at 5%.
