The table below gives data on the hour of leisure time per year for people in Someland.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information in the table below.
The table illustrates how people of different ages ranging from teens to the elderly spend their spare time on a variety of pastimes per year.
Overall, as can be seen from the chart, three of the most common leisure pursuits of Someland’s citizens were watching TV and videos, interacting with a maximum of four individuals and founding group exercise or sport. On the other hand, the other recreational activities were less popular.
People’s favorite hobby was watching TV/ videos: the table showed that teenagers invested 1,200 hours a year in doing this while the number of those of 70-years-old was 1,100; even people who least favored watching spent at least 400 hours on it. Meanwhile, the amount of time on socializing with four people or less ranged from 150 to 300 hours. This kind of recreation was the most enjoyed for 30-years-old. While the elderly after turning 60 didn’t do exercise in group at all, teenagers and youngsters liked this activity so much that it devoured 450 and 350 hours of their free time per year respectively.
Communication with at least four people was trendy with the youth when its number reached 350 hours. In the two next sectors, however, the number plummeted significantly to 50 and plateaued at 25 for the rest of activities. Individual exercise, on the other hand, was the most common with 30-40- years-old, their spent hours were 200. Cinema was the least time-spent hobby when teenagers contributed 100 hours; yet, the other did not account for above those.
