Overall, it is clear that the UK spent more money on consumer goods than France in the period given. Both the British and the French spent most of the money on cars, while the amount of money was spent on perfume was cameras in France compared to perfume in the Uk.
In terms of, people in the UK spent about 450,000 pounds on this opposed to the Frech at 400,000 pounds. Similarly, the percentage of spending computer in the British was higher than the French, at around 410,00 pounds and 300,000 pounds, respectively. In addition, above 370,000 pounds of money spent on the computer while the French were rose significantly, at around 350,000 pounds.
On the other hand, the amount of money paid out on the remaining goods was higher in France. Around 360,000 pounds was spent by the British on cameras which were decreased sharply more than the French exactly 200,000 pounds. In addition, the countries spent much on perfume which accounted on for 200,000 pounds of expenditure in France but under 150,00 pounds in the UK.
