The diagram describes the process in which tomato ketchup is produced.
It can be seen that there are total 15 distinct steps in this production process, beginning with picking tomatoes and ending with resulting product to mix with fast food.
At the first stage, main material, tomatoes, is picked by hand and put in baskets. Following that, they are sorted according to good and bad criteria, then being sent to the factory by trucks. At this point, after removing stalk, skin and seeds, the rest of tomatoes are poured into containers to transform into crushing process.
At the seventh stage, the tomato liquid are mixed with 3 different additives including sugar, vinegar and salt, before being boiled at high temperature and then leaving about two hours to eliminate hot vapor to become ketchup. After that, the mixture is packed into bottles and labelled in order to convenient for controlling quality. Finally, the completed products are packed into large boxes for delivery purpose to supermarkets and ready for sale. Furthermore, tomato ketchup is used as a sauce when eating hamburger and fries.
