Given is the diagram representing the process by which aluminum cans are recycled.
Overall, it is noticeable that there are six stages in its recycling, beginning with cans being used and culminating in reused cans.
To begin, people throw away consumed cans into the garbage, and then the garbage truck arrives in many places to collect used cans and other types of rubbish. Following this step, they begin to transport them to the factory, and these cans are cleaned, sorted, shredded, and compressed by advanced machines. After that, the metal cans are heated at a high temperature to allow aluminum to melt. It is then rolled out thick flat from 2.5 mm to 6 mm. The aluminum cans are now ready to be recycled into new kinds of stuff, such as drink containers.
In the subsequent stage, these new cans are delivered to factories that make soft drinks and they have to be filled. The cans are now possibly sold to the public and reused. In the UK, 74% of all aluminum cans that are sold are widely consumed and reused.
