Energy
The changes in electricity production in units powered by various fuels in Australia and France between 1980 and 2020 were represented in the pie charts.
Overall, Coal was the most used fuel burnt to produce electricity in Australia while France used nuclear power the most. Similarly, natural gas in both countries became the least in use while no nuclear power was generated in Australia.
To begin, Australia rose its energy production from coal by almost three-fold in 2000, while the figure for France remained the same. Thus, oil-powered energy in Australia experienced a fall to 2 units, whereas France increased its production to 25 units. Hydropower was the second-highest energy produced by Australia, showing an increase to 36 units, while a decline was seen in France.
The year 2020 saw a decrease in natural gas use in Australia, followed by the same number in France. Finally, the nuclear-powered electricity was never introduced in Australia but become the most used in France, accounting for126 unit, jumping to about eight-fold.
