The reading states that there are several reasons that critics have opposed the idea that Sinosauropteryx was a feathered dinosaur. On the other hand, the lecturer finds all the reasons mentioned by the reading dubious and refutes them all by specific details.
First, the reading states that the skin fibers became preserved as lines in the fossil; the lines were misinterpreted as evidence of feathers. On the contrary, the lecturer mentioned that we do not see any decomposition in the fossils, and the skin could not be covered by frill. The evidence shows the fact that the dinosaur's body is covered with feathers.
Furthermore, the author argues that some of the critics argue that the lines surrounding the skeleton are much more likely to be fossilized remains of frills than remains of feathers. Conversely, the professor underlines the fact that there is some kind of chemical difference between frills, and feathers exist. The feathers have a kind of protein called beta-carotene, whereas, frills do not have this kind of protein. So structures show feathers.
Finally, the reading passage holds the view that the structures represented by the lines in the Sinosauropteryx fossil were mostly located along the backbone and the tail of the animal. So this would be quite useless for flight. In contrast, the speaker dismisses this issue that feathers could be colorful, and evidence in fossils shows up, oranges, and white color in dinosaurs, so we could understand they have colorful feathers.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
