It is obligatory that students at the university must join some outdoor activities to graduate, but there has recently been high schools require the same regulation for their pupils. There are arguments if this is necessary or too much for these children.
Once to discuss about is benefits the voluntary works bring to us. People must have had sympathetic feelings on the pain and difficulties of others to determine to spend their time helping with non-profit. This develops their characteristics in a very positive direction and improve volunteers' soft skills, either. By doing free work every day, students can have a chance to expose to many people that they have not known before. As a result, it not only helps to expand the social relationships, but the communication skills could be able to evolve drastically.
So the problem is with the above advantages, should voluntary work be available to high school students? This is a completely different matter which depends on perspective of individuals. In case students do not really carry out it by heart, there is no use wasting their time in stuff they just do with negligence but to do homework instead. In contrast, pupils who seem to be in this field tend to voluntarily experience these work with the hope and honor of being more mature themselves plus pulling people who need help out of trouble as much as possible. And schools have to consider carefully about the rate of volunteers in order to make appropriate decision. For me, it it the best to limit the level of obligation, they can take outdoor activities into account to give students bonus points, not a requirement to graduate.
In conclusion, it can be controversial to follow one side and ignore another of suggestions since this involves in general society benefit. However, this work should be seen as a motivation rather than a pressure put on students.
