The bar charts provide information about various destinations like part time job, voluntary work, further study and unemployement of graduate and postgraduate students of the UK after completing their college in the year 2008.
Overall, it is clearly evident that both UK graduate and postgraduate students had similar destinations after leaving college. The majority went for further study and the least number of students opted for voluntary work.
It is observed that nearly 3,500 UK graduates opted for voluntary work which is in similar proportion to the postgraduates where 345 chose the same. Likewise, 16,235 UK graduates remained unemployed in 2008 which is in similar proportion to postgraduates (1,625 students).
A similar trend is observed in case of further study where the highest number of students from both graduate and postgraduate groups were found. On the contrary, a slight decrease in proportion of graduates (17,735 students) was observed compared to 2,535 students from postgraduate level who worked part time after leaving college in 2008.
