The chart below shows the results of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
The given bar chart illustrates the percentage of the coffee and tea consumers in different cities, namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart.
It is clear that the most percentage of people went to a cafe for coffee or tea in Melbourne and Hobart. It is also noticeable that going to a cafe for coffee or tea was the most chosen among the three subjects.
Looking at the bar chart in detail, we can see that customers bought fresh coffee most in Sydney and Melbourne by the amount with percentages respectively of approximately 43% and 42%. While instant coffee was the best seller in Brisbane at 53%, it was the least used in Sydney at just over 45%. In comparison with Melbournre , Hobart’s people who went to a cafe for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks is smaller by a narrow margin.
Regarding Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart, going to a cafe was the first choice, buying instant coffee was the second choice and the last one was buying fresh coffee of the people there. However, the opposite was true for Adelaide people. In Adelaide, a higher number of people preferred buying instant coffee to going to a cafe. At the same of the other four cities, the lowest percentage of people would rather have bought fresh coffee.
