You are renting a house in an English-speaking country, and the landlord has been helpful during your stay. Now your friend is interested in renting your place. Please write a letter to your landlord to inform your friend that you will be moving out.
In your letter
• tell your landlord that you are leaving and explain why
• thank your landlord for being helpful
• recommend your friend as a prospective tenant.
Dear Mr John,
I am writing this letter to say thank you for all your support during my stay at your house and I also would like to inform you about my friend who has become instrested to rent this house same as me.
Sadly, I would like to inform you that now I have finished my study and I have decided that I will return to my home country because I want to stay with my kith and kin. Already I have missed myriad functions and events due to study. Moreover, now I can work from home owing to such advanced technologies. That is why no meaning to stay in this country while I can manage both from my home.
Indeed, I feel myself the luckiest person who had such a co-operative house owner. I cannot forget all your support which you had provided me such as looking for part-time job, translating few English worlds in my language and motivating me each and every time for better results in my exam.
Well, one of my close friends who has visited this place earlier has become instrested to hire this because he has decided to continue his study for PHD. if I talk about personalilty then he is an honest and tidy person. I am sure he will keep your house spic and span and will never bother you for anything. I can take his responsibility.
Hope we will be touch in future.
Yours sincerely,
Rehana Diwan.
