Dear Miss Han,

I writing this letter in order to tell you that I am moving out of the apartment and my friend, Xiao is interested in renting it after my lease terminates. I found a new job in Hamilton area with higher salary, but I need to work on-site. This is the reason why I want to move out and live closer to the new office, so that I could save some time commuting to work.

I have been living in the apartment for three years and I really appreciate all your help within this period. There was one night when the water pipe in the kitchen broke and I didn’t know how to deal with it. You came immediately and helped fix the pipe after I called you. Also, you lowered the rent for three months in 2020 to help me went through the tough time when I lost my job due to the COVID pandemic. No words could express how thankful I am for what you have done for me.

After I leave, my friend, Xiao wants to be tenant as she paid a visit to the apartment several weeks ago and she really likes it. She is a nice girl and she has a decent job as an accountant. Besides, she is absolutely gifted for cooking and baking. I am pretty confident she would satisfy your requirements for renting the apartment and you would love the food she makes.

Please let me know what you think. Looking forward to your response.

Best wishes,

Jerry
