The bar chart displays the number of pineapples exported from three key countries in 2009 and 2019. Meanwhile, the pie chart analyzes aspects included in the prices shown to consumers.
At a quick glance, there were three countries of A, B, and C which exported the most pineapples, and also there are 7 different types of distribution from the consumers' pineapples payments.
Regarding the pineapples productions, in 2009, country B took the lead sending out more than 4 million tonnes, which out-produced the other two by more than 2 million tonnes. However, in 2019, country A registered a profound increase in pineapple exports which sent out nearly 9 times the capacity in 2009. Country C remained the last runner among the three while country B produced less than half of their prior amount.
Breaking down the cost of pineapples into seven groups, as can be seen, distribution & retail accounted for more than one-third of the total cost. Moreover, 16% and 18% of the price belonged to tax services and profit funds respectively. Import licenses and transporting also took the total 22% in the pineapple prices. Lastly, export costs and producers added up to 9% of the cost.
