Overall, it can be observed that United States had the highest number of people going to jail in the period of 1940, 1960 to 1980. Also, in 1930 and 1950, Canada consisted of higher number of imprisonments. Great Britain had the lowest number of people imprisoned from 1930 to 1970 while in 1980 Australia comprised of the least imprisonments.
In the period from 1930 to 1950, Canada showed fluctuations in the people going behind bars which was above 100 thousand. In 1930, United States had the many people going to jail too, it also showed fluctuations in the number of people in the 30 years period, it had the highest number of imprisonments in 1940 which included around 122 thousand people and it reduced slightly in the next 10 years respectively. The number of people in jail from Australia and New Zealand went on reducing over the thirty years period which consisted of approximately 40000 people. The people from Great Britain going behind bars slightly rose from 1930 to 1950 which showed 40 thousand people respectively.
An analysis of 1960 to 1980, discloses Great Britain and New Zealand had increasing number of individuals going in prison that comprised around 60 thousand people. Canada, united states showed slight fluctuations accounting the prisoners. The numbers increased in 1960 and suddenly reduced and again increased. Australia had more numbers and then suddenly it reduced.
