The pie charts below show units of electricity production by fuel source in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000 Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The given pie charts compare the amount of electricity produced by five different sources in Australia and France in two separated years.
Overall, while their total productions rose significantly from 1980 to 2000, there was a considerable decrease witnessed in the figures for natural gas of both countries.
In detail, coal was the most commonly used material to produce electricity in Australia, with 50 units in 1980 and increasing to 130 units in 2000. In addition, in 1980, 20 units of electricity in Australia were generated by using natural gas, doubling the figure for oil. Nonetheless, these figures dropped to two units each in the year 2000. It is noticeable that Australia did not consider nuclear power as a source of producing electricity.
In France, in 1980, each fuel source was used to produce under 30 units of electricity, and the lowest number was recorded for hydro power, with only five units. Moreover, while there was a surge of over 100 units in electricity in France by nuclear power, those by natural gas dipped from 20 units to two units in two years.
