The table and chart show data about reading among people under 30 years old.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The charts illustrate some information about three different book types as well as the proportions of book reading among under-30-year-old readers in 2012. Overall, print books witnessed outstanding growth, as well as the high percentages of three groups of readers.
As can be seen in the first bar chart, print books appeared to be the most popular type since they were chosen by more than three-quarters of all three age group readers. Particularly, almost 85% of teenage readers preferred this type of book in comparison to the other two groups. Generally, E-books and Audiobooks seemed not to make up a large proportion of the total, for their readers from three age groups were recorded at under one fifth.
The 16-17-year-old readers were recorded at about 90% of a reading process, as they had read 12 books on average. The young adult group, aged from 18 to 24, seemed to have read less than them since there was roughly 79% in reading process and 11 books were read by them. Compared to the second group, the oldest readers were seen to have read 2% more, but their number of read books remained the same.
